I grew up in Leiden with my mom, who was the catalyst of my creative endeavors. I remember how she taught me to sew, and how annoyed became that my work wasn't as good as hers. But as frustrated I was back then, how grateful I am now that she taught me the gift of creativity. My passion for creation quickly expended to include drawing, painting and reading. I continued by taking painting lessons from an extraordinary painter in Leiden, where I developed an eye for detail and proportion.

I've always been a dreamer, constantly thinking about how to create things where others see no way. But dreaming also made me want to go bigger. After a year I dropped painting lessons, which surprised my teacher. "It's sad to see someone with your skill go" He said "please never stop drawing and paintingn" And I never did, I just took a little detour. That path led me towards costume making, prop creation and competing, a hobby that I still deeply enjoy. It feeds the dreamer in me who love to create what others might consider impossible and the "Jack of All trades" who can excel in various subject at once, from 3D-modeling and foam work to clothing design, leatherwork, electronics, programming and more. I am currently studying Mechatronics to add engineering to the list of skill, in which I really enjoy the broad aspects of being a Mechatronics engineer.

There are many ways to make people happy, but I find it in the creating extraordinary experiences that people will remember for a long time, even if only in the back of their minds. That's how I want to make the world smile a little more—by making the impossible possible.
